This attractive book reminds me of a December issue of a women's magazine. It has recipes, heartwarming stories and decorating tips. The book is divided into chapters that talk about one facet of the holiday season--cooking with kids, decorating the house, having people over, and more. It is filled with beautiful photographs and is printed on heavy glossy paper. It would make a lovely hostess gift, particularly if accompanied by some spicy nut mix (recipe provided).
